When you give a seller a pitch deck, they give it back to the customer almost verbatim — and the customer tunes out. The deck becomes the constraint instead of the tool.
Reframed the deliverable from “the pitch” to “the framework.” Sellers learn how to construct a customer-centric pitch from primitives: the customer’s current state, the cost of inaction, the proposed shift, and proof. They build their own deck for each conversation.
Reps stop sounding like the company and start sounding like themselves talking about the customer’s problem. Win rates on the calls where they actually use the framework go up materially.
