Launchpad Onboarding

In the video above, you are introduced to the comprehensive Launchpad training program designed to equip new sales team members with essential skills and knowledge for their roles. The five-phase program spans roughly five weeks, starting with basic setups and system access, progressing through deep dives into company products, competitors, and industry specifics, and culminating in hands-on practical training and a final assessment.

Launchpad aims to boost confidence and competence, ensuring team members can effectively engage with customers and enhance conversation value right from the start. Participants engage in one-on-one meetings, role-plays, and receive ongoing support through every phase, preparing them to excel in their positions and contribute meaningfully to the organization's success.

This is the overall system I use to onboard every individual at Platform.sh. While the content is different for each role (with a lot of overlap), they process and phases remain the same. We have seen great success with this system. Most sellers are able to complete the onboarding within four weeks, and we've had a 95% success rate for passing the final assessment on the first try (only two people have failed and they both passed on their second try).
