So I’m following Brook’s footsteps and taking over a month to do this. I was tagged…the idea is this:
Post these rules on your blog
Write 6 random things about yourself.
Tag 6 people at the end of you post
If you tagged, DO IT and pass on the tag.
So here I go….
I can wiggle my ears…independently. I can wiggle just my right ear, or I can wiggle just my left ear. This is what happens when you have no life.
I had a dog named Vern when I was growing up. It was so dumb that it would run into the fence when you would call it from the other side….needless to say this would happen often.
In Jr. High I was the stinky kid. I hit puberty and no one really told me that I needed to take a bath more than once a week. I’ve gotten better though.
I was a die hard anti-Apple until about 2 years ago. I saw the errors of my ways and converted to the one true computer…and I’ll never go back.
I have a tattoo on my back of a cross with tribal print behind it. I would get two sleeves too if UPS and my wife would let me.
I’m my own uncle….yep…try to figure that one out. Just so you know…there was no incest involved and everything was legal.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting tired of all the political ads. I’m tired of the dirt flinging, but I’m mainly tired of the repeditiveness of the style. Pictures of the person with quotes next to them with a voice over. It is getting really boring.
If I was running for an office, I would hire the guys from the Sonic commercials. Or I would do a mac/pc commercial.
I’m curious. What style would your political commercials be?
This weeks new technology that I cam across is called Evernote. I heard about this through twitter and had to check it out. First off I have to say this thing is pretty cool in the sense that it works on PC and Mac and has a web side to it too (and they all sync with each other). Unfortunately, the Mac software only works on Leopard (I still have Tiger).
The idea behind Evernote is to be a place where you can store all the information that you come across in day and easily pull it back up through search features and tags later down the road. There are other things out there that can do this, but the main thing that wowed me was the fact it can search text in pictures (even handwriting).
I’ve just started using it (and only the web side since I don’t have Leopard), but I’m liking it so far. For a person like me that ingests copious amounts of information every day, this is great. I’m pretty good at remembering things, but this will make things easier.
I’ve included the video from their site below. I have 9 invites left. If anyone is interested, send me an email through my contact page.

We’re having a baby!!!! Let me answer all the basic questions first:
Due Date: June 6th 2008
Shannon is at 8 weeks
Yes it was planned
Yes we are excited
If it’s a girl we are calling her Addison
If it’s a boy we are calling him Asa
Shannon is having morning sickness, but she is doing fine
Shannon isn’t having really any cravings. She just has some foods she doesn’t like.
We’ve known for a few weeks now, but wanted to tell everyone after we had our first Dr. visit.
We went and had the ultrasound today and it was really cool. I think today was one of the first times that it sunk in. It still hasn’t completely sunk in yet. But I’m pretty sure it will once I’m changing diapers. The best part was getting to see his/her heart beat (we’re to early in pregnancy to hear it). The baby is 1.6 cm long and basically a little blob at this point. But it’s still pretty cool. I’m going to have to clean some crap out of my wallet now so I can fit baby pictures in the there…or I could just put it on my iPhone. I think I’ll go with the latter (I wonder if Apple make baby toys…if not they need to).
