Did some grilling this weekend and thought I would share.  Come back next week and I’ll put one together for how to smoke a brisket.

Nice work. I do have a few suggestions though. I usually like to marinate my meat for a decade at the minimum. This allows the modified starch in the marinade ample time to penetrate. I recommend putting the meat in the marinate, refrigerate for ~1 month then freeze for 5 years. After this, thaw the meat, baste with more marinade and add 1 teaspoon of salt to keep it fresh. Freeze again for a minimum of 4 years and 11 months. This will results in a great tasting and textured meal every time. Also, while BBQing I would suggest the BBQer to consume at least 3 beers and others present to do the same. I celebrate your beer choice. Amber ale is a wonderful compliment to BBQ chicken.

I agree completely. I wasn’t patient enough with the marinade process. I have some beef ribs that are in the frig that I can get started now and we have for Asa’s 10 year birthday.

And yes…beer for everyone. And if their pregnant drink their’s for them.

Bro if you are giving up your secret on how to smoke a brisket you and I are no longer friends and I demand you leave my sister because you no longer have my consent to Marry her lol. Before you go though can I have your recipe for smoked brisket. Love you bro thanks for the cooking tips. Also thank you for all your other blogs they are always inspiring.

PS sorry for the spelling/grammer errors I know I write like a 2 year old.

Andy…Monet could show you what brushes, paints and canvases he uses. He could show everyone the order in which he uses them. But no one can paint like Monet. And if by chance someone does learn to paint like Monet…well that just means there is more brisket to eat.

I loved the music. That was my favorite part, i think. i mean, yeah, the cooking was great, the chicken looked awesome but nothing better than a song about high-fiving that may be shrouded in references that i am unattuned to at this time
