iTunes Gift CardA little while ago I posted a desperate plea for some suggestions of music to buy with my iTunes Gift Card. I still need suggestions. This wasn’t some creative plow to get people to come to my web site. I really am stumped about what to buy.

So would you please give me some suggestions. You can read the original post for my music preferences. When I buy the music, I’ll post my purchases and give the people responsible credit. Thanks in advance for everyone’s help.

I haven’t had a chance to comment in a while, but let me chime in on this blog entry…

So while I’m Connections Director at City on a Hill and I’m actually listening to the Robbie Seay Band right now, I won’t give you a long list of Christian artists…

Frankly, I’m disappointed with the Christian music genre in general, but I’m sure there are some amazing artist I have yet to become aware of (hint hint)…

    So in no particular order:

Jon Foreman – ‘Winter’. Switchfoot is amazing, and Jon is probably one of the top five writers now. His lyrics on this album are accessible and at the same time extremely profound.

Athlete – ‘Beyond the Neighbourhood’ or any of the previous ones. Actually get them all.

The Frames – ‘Set List’. His voice is kind of like power unleashed…

Magnet – ‘The Tourniquet’ or any of the previous ones. Actually get them all.
His voice and music arrangements are awesome.

Matthew Good – Get the ‘Born Losers’ single, and be completely blown away.

Matchbox Twenty – Get the ‘How Far We’ve Come’ single, and listen to it loud.

Oh yeah, ask for a lot more iTunes cards.
